General Information

    2010 International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (ISKE2010) is the fifth in a series of conferences on ISKE. It follows the successful ISKE2006 in Shanghai, ISKE2007 in Chengdu, ISKE2008 in Xiamen, China, and ISKE2009 in Hasselt, Belgium. ISKE2010 in Hangzhou, China, once again provides a forum for researchers and practitioners involved in different but related domains to confront research results and discuss key issues in Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering.
    We invite submissions of papers presenting a high-quality original research and development for the conference tracks. Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE categorized conference proceedings submitted for indexing to EI and ISTP. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit revised and expanded version of their papers to be considered for publication in the well-known international journals (SCI or EI) or english Journals.

Hangzhou, China

    Hangzhou is located along Southeast coast of China. It is the capital of Zhejiang Province, the center of politics, economy, science, education, and culture of the province. Hangzhou is a key national tourism city, historical city and vice provincial level city as confirmed by the State Council. Hangzhou is renowned as "Paradise on Earth", "Cultural State", "Home of Silk", "Tea Capital", "Town of Fish and Rice".




Zhejiang University (ZJU)

    Zhejiang University is a comprehensive national university. Founded in 1897, Zhejiang University was initially known as “Qiushi Shuyuan” (Qiushi Academy), one of the ealiest modern academies of higher learning established in China. In 1952, because of the nationwide restructuring of universities, Zhejiang University underwent a reshuffling of disciplines and some departments merged into other universities.

    At the turn of the century, the university is taking full advantage of the opportunities brought by the amalgamation, and will continue to give priority to education and research. It seeks to offer service to the nation's economic development, and to make every effort to build itself into an institution on a par with the first-class university in the world.


Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University(NIT, ZJU)

    Funded by the Ningbo Municipal Government and administered by Zhejiang University (ZJU, sic passim), Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University (NIT, sic passim) was founded in June, 2001, with the ratification of the Ministry of Education and the Zhejiang Provincial Government. It is a full-time institution of higher learning, offering regular undergraduate courses and operating as a separate legal entity.

    By bringing into full play the advantages of the cooperation of a well-known city with a famous university, and enjoying a high point of departure and high standards, NIT, at accelerated speed and with great-leap-forward development, has grown into a comprehensive institute with over 11,100-odd full-time regular college students, providing, at the same time, postgraduate and adult courses.
